📦 THe PRoduct
A streetwear brand website with a shop and responsive Webdesign.
🎯 THe GOAl
Represent a brand that has a cause behind it in comparison to other streetwear brands, Emerge tries to deliver a message through cool clothing and branding. Its streetwear with a cause.
🗠 Method
EMPATHIZE (user interview)➔ DEFINE (persona study) ➔ COMPETITVE AUDIT (market research) ➔
IDEATE (wireframe and prototyping)➔ USER TESTING
🚩 THE PROBLEM
We discovered that there are several brands of streetwear, each with its own set of benefits and drawbacks. One of the most typical faults is that the releases are super limited and hard to get. Second, most items get released and are bought and then resold for a super high value. Finally, most of these brands don’t have any values or reasons to put out their stuff.
🕵 USER INTERVIEWS
During the empathize phase of this project, I conducted user interviews to acquire a better understanding of the problem.
I used both conversational and form questionnaires for our user research. My investigation was quite thorough. How old are they, what brand do they prefer, what kind of products do they buy, and why do they choose one over the other? How often do they purchase from the brands? Do they appreciate the ability to receive individualized customer support while placing an order? The list goes on.
Price, special deals, time savings, and materials used in the things are all factors that they consider. I noticed that people spend less time looking for older products and prefer to purchase items from the most recent collection. They want to know if brands are meeting their fair trade apparel agreements, how the company is assisting producers, and how long it will take to receive the items. They also want real-time delivery tracking, delivery time updates, and delivery location tracking.

✏️ IDEATION
During the ideation phase of this project, I started by using the Crazy Eights technique and seeing what could I get from different “crazy ideas“
Low-Fi Wireframes was the next step I did to try and figure the best format for a a shop that could be clean and responsive at the same type.
I was able to divide the different fashion items into certain categories and develop the structure of the website based on the findings from the competitive audit and user interviews.
I drew some sketches of Emerge’s Homepage once the information architecture was complete to get a sense of how it will look. Because everyone who participated in the user interviews said they prefer to purchase online on their desktops, I chose to concentrate on building the screens for the desktop version.
I began developing various high-fidelity wireframes on Figma with my sketches by my side.
The Homepage, Category Page, Product Details Page, and Checkout Pages were all wireframed.
I then proceeded to do a basic prototype to see how it would work.
After finishing the first ideation, I wasn't happy with the result as it was pretty standard and not innovative.
I proceeded to try to make another website a little bit more modern and minimalist.
And this was the result…

✏️ UI DESIGN
We began developing the screens in Figma after the first round of sketches was completed.
Neutral colors and clean layouts are essential design principles, according to our research to make the website quite clean and minimal. The main aesthetic styles we follow are visual emphasis, elegance, and cleanliness.
This platform is made for web browsers across a variety of platforms such as tablets, mobile phones, PC desktops and laptops.
